Donn Pardee > Just outside the crater of the first atomic bomb explosion is the remains of "Jumbo", the container they decided not to use to explode the bomb inside of in case of a dud. The damage to jumbo is not from the explosion, but rather from the recycle attempts over the years.
Donn Pardee > Ground Zero of the first atom bomb explosion. The "Trinity Site" about half an hour south east of Socorro N.M. on the White Sands missile range. This visit is equivalent to one dental x-ray.

Donn Pardee > The Very Large Array (VLA) radio observatory dish that you can walk up to near the visitor's center. These antennas are all mobile on rails by a special transporter.
Donn Pardee > Air show at White Sands. You can walk right up to these things there.
Donn Pardee > The round house (yard) at the Bitter Creek and Western miniature railroad, Nipomo, CA.
Donn Pardee > What we do in the sky around here. Shot taken from the street in front of my house, Santa Maria, CA.
Donn Pardee > The White Sands Missile Museum's restored and mounted V-2 rocket.
